On July 27, 2019, Shanghai Paraffin Section H&E Staining Training Competition was successfully held in Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, 118 competitors came as scheduled in the heat. All the domestic paraffin Microtomes and environmentally friendly reagents were used in this training. Craftek, Yidi and Cody provided paraffin Microtomes and slicing sets such as toaster, spreader and freezing table, and Kyushu Berlin, Beso and Kohui provided H&E environmentally friendly staining reagent sets.
A total of 44 competitors competed at Craftek, and the competitors were on top of their game, and the whole day went very smoothly without any situation. Light sound, light hand, and no skipping of slices when slicing fibroid tissue for the day's competition was the focus of the competitors' feedback. A few competitors commented on the lightness of the large and small handwheels of the Claritec Microtome, and the need to be careful when trimming the slices, or else they would be easily over-trimmed. This should still be a matter of habit, get used to it.
